Randolph Stone
Chief Executive Officer

Randy Stone joined MMA in 1991, as a partner in the fledgling firm where he held various sales and account management positions until his appointment to CEO in early 2000.  Before MMA, Randy was Vice President, Group Sales & Marketing Manager at ACNielsen. Prior to ACNielsen, Randy was at Burke Marketing Services where he ran a group practice in new product and advertising test marketing. His clients ranged from those in consumer packaged goods, telecommunications, retail, and entertainment. He began his career at Trendex in a variety of research and client management roles. Randy graduated from Fairfield University with a B.A. in Political Science.

 

Jeff Faenza
Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Faenza joined MMA as its Chief Financial Officer in 2005.  Jeff is also the CFO for Copernicus Marketing Consulting, a sister company based in Wilton, CT, where he has worked for the past 12 years.  Prior to joining MMA and Copernicus, Jeff spent seven years as VP of Finance at Yankelovich Clancy Shulman and three years as a senior auditor with KPMG.  Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers College.


 

Tim Murphy
Senior Vice President, Analytic Standards and Innovation Officer

Tim Murphy joined MMA in 1997 and since that time has held key positions in analytics, development and account management.  Tim has experience working across a wide range of clients and industries that include CPG, Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Telecommunication, Automotive and Retail.  Before joining MMA, Tim was with Information Resources, Inc. as the Director of the Analytical Consulting Group (ACG) for the Northeast region. He began his career in marketing with Young & Rubicam in Chicago where he was responsible for the quantitative analysis of market and consumer behavior. Tim holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in Psychology from St. Michael's College.

Sheila Baker
Senior Vice President, Operations Officer

Sheila Baker joined MMA in 2002 and is responsible for managing MMA’s Operations, which is responsible for project management and delivery across all marketing analysis engagements.  Prior to this role, Sheila managed projects & relationships for several clients including Gillette and J&J.  Before joining MMA, Sheila worked for ACNielsen for 10 years where she was responsible for new client transitions and for maintaining relationships between Client Service and Production across all clients in the Norwalk office.  She also handled client servicing for Boehringer-Ingelheim, Barilla Pasta, and Black & Decker.  Sheila majored in economics at Fairfield University.

Steve Tobias
Senior Vice President, Client Officer

Steve joined MMA in 2005 from BearingPoint where he was a Senior Manager leading the firm's efforts in supporting the Marketing and Communication industry. Previous to that Steve was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice. Steve is responsible for managing MMA's portfolio of accounts and leading MMA's new business efforts. Steve has led MMA's focus toward consulting clients on evolving their marketing analytics capabilities. Steve holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business and he is also a CPA.

 

Kathy McCarthy
Vice President, Account and Data Management

Kathy McCarthy joined MMA in 1996 to create a department responsible for coordinating all aspects of data across MMA.  Subsequently, the Data Solutions Group became responsible for data acquisition, cleansing, processing,  validating and integration for all projects and clients, building out applications and processes to aid in this effort. Currently, Kathy manages several of MMA’s account relationships as well as heads up their Data Integration and Management Services practice.  Prior to joining MMA, Kathy worked at both IRI and AC Nielsen where she held a variety of positions across several major clients (Anheuser-Busch, Unilever, Pepsi, etc).  Kathy majored in Business Administration at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.



Gerry Pollak
Vice President, Client Service Analytics

Gerry is a seasoned marketing research consultant who joined MMA back in 1994.
Throughout this time, he has held both client service and advanced analytic production responsibilities across dozens of categories including packaged goods, retail, telecom, and financial services.  Gerry continues to leverage his in-depth knowledge of marketing mix analysis and other advanced analytics tools to not only deliver fact based insights, but to also contextualize and benchmark historic performance.  He has authored many white papers and industry reports on marketing effectiveness. Gerry has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.


Patrick Murray
Vice President, Account Management

Patrick Murray joined MMA from The Home Depot, where he most recently was the Director of Pricing Analytics and Execution.  Before that he led The Home Depot’s Marketing Effectiveness function and held other merchandising and operations roles in the company.  He has worked in a variety of management and operations consulting positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and other firms.  He holds an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business, both in Hanover, New Hampshire.


Keith Hopkins
Vice President, Applications Management

Keith Hopkins joined MMA in 2007 from Accenture, where he served as Senior Manager of the Global CRM Service Line.  Previously, Keith served as Senior Manager of the CRM Service Line at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and BearingPoint.  Keith’s client experience includes work for JP Morgan Chase, The Home Depot, Estee Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, FedEx, and others.  He also served as Chief Information Officer of Petals, a national home furnishings company, and held engineering and management positions at Witco Corporation, an automotive parts manufacturer. Hopkins has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the State University of New York – Regents College, and an M.S. in telecommunications from Iona College.


Erik Erikson
Vice President of Human Resources

Erik joined MMA in May of 2000 as a result of the Applied Information for Marketing, Inc., (AIM) acquisition. Erik was Director, Human Resources at AIM since 1997. Prior to joining AIM, Erik spent 3 years as Employee Services Manager with Business Resources Services, Inc., (BRS) in Jericho , NY, to support a fast growing corporation with 425 employees and ten locations. Erik spent 10 years with IBM Corporation where he held various human resources and operations management positions. Erik has a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from Franklin Pierce College.
